On behalf of a high-profile and rapidly growing financial services client, we are looking for an IT Security Analyst. This role is particularly suited to someone who is keen to work with an experienced, talented team, and who thrives on change and working in a fast paced environment.
You will be responsible for supporting the IT Security Manager in matters relating to the security, risk and compliance of data, infrastructure and processes, protecting the company's technology from internal and external threats and ensuring customers' security is protected.
Key aspects of the role are to:
- Support the development, implementation and maintenance of the corporate Security Policy and Standards, ensuring compliance with applicable legal, regulatory and best practise frameworks.
- Manage and assess IT related risk in accordance with ISO 2700 1/2 best practice.
Provide a security monitoring, investigation and incidence response function.
- Analyse IT security issues in order to identify root causes, ensuring all systems are supported and maintainable and adopted change management processes are adhered to.
- Maintain relationships with 3rd party vendors, service providers and partners.
- Acquire and maintain knowledge of relevant industry trends, product offerings, current support policies, and methods of service delivery.
- Support and project manage the introduction of best practice procedures, policies and audit recommendations in relation to IT Security through to delivery and implementation.
- Provide security consultancy for all business areas and projects.
The following are essential to make an impact in this role:
- Experience in IT Security roles in a commercial technology environonment.
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies and experience of outsourced environments.
- A relevant Industry qualification eg CCSA/CCSE, CISSP, CISA, MSc/Diploma in InfoSec, or equivalent.
